Briefly Describe the Purpose of the Program
The Consolidate County (CNC) Program provides supplemental Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) funding for Counties. IDOT uses State of Illinois Road Funds to fund the program. The annual formula funding is distributed to Counties, and must be used as MFT, following IDOT policy and process.

How Must Funds Be Used: The funding is to be used by a County on MFT eligible uses and the funding becomes MFT upon distribution and must follow MFT standards and policy according to the IDOT Bureau of Local Roads & Street Manual.
