RB6_6   This paper explores the relationships between schizophrenia and demographic variables using data from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, 2021. The Midwest census region is the geographical unit of analysis. Statistical analysis of data indicates that the Midwest region is home to 542,537 persons with schizophrenia and although the majority of schizophrenia sufferers are men, the proportion varies among the races; the prevalence of the disease is higher among Hispanic females.
