Finances wind, solar, hydropower, geothermal, or biomass renewable energy projects. Energy storage projects related to a renewable energy project are also eligible.

Open to: Corporations, government organizations, Indian Tribes and Alaska Native corporations, utility districts, cooperatives, nonprofits, for-profit corporations and LLCs. At least 50 percent of the population served must live in communities with populations of 20,000 or fewer.

Terms and Conditions: Up to 60 percent of the loan can be forgiven if the project meets certain criteria
